How do I join?

Click on NEW MEMBER SIGN UP and Register. 

You will be asked to completely fill out a registration form and once this is done an email will be sent to the administrators for approval.  

 

What is our security policy?

The safety and security of our members and their children is is VERY important to The Wichita Moms Group [TM]. Considering we are an online group we take certain measures to maintain security. We ask all potential members to fill out a registration form to discourage spammers and any unwanted, unsolicited business.

Do I have to pay any fees to join?

 

The Wichita Moms Group [TM] is free to join.  

 

Donations to The Wichita Moms Group [TM] are accepted but NOT mandatory!  

 

Donations will never be asked and/or used to up keep this site.

 

* All donations will be kept in an account to help pay for various different activities (not site to run this site) for The Wichita Mom’s Group [TM]. * 

 

These funds will NEVER be used for any other reason than for activities specifically related to this group.  Any use of the donated funds will be voted on by the members of this group through a survey.

 

Wichita Mom’s Group [TM] is a Non Profit Organization!  Any Donations may be paid through PayPal or by cash/check in person.  A receipt will be given and a monthly bank statement will be given to all members.

 

Do I have to attend all of the events?

No. You do not have to attend all the events. We post events regularly and you may attend as many events as you can fit into your schedule.

 

Do I have to post a certain amount of posts in order to obtain membership?

 

No.  This website was designed to help women connect! We understand FULLY that being a Mom is a fulltime job and that sometimes you just don't have the time to post on a daily basis, etc. 

 

If a member is unactive for more than 45 days I will email them to find out about their status and give them the opportunity to resign from the group or not.. but no one will ever be asked to leave for lack of posting.

Can I contribute to planning events?

Absolutely. This is a GROUP. We want everyone to be involved! To contribute your ideas, simply make a suggestion via message board or through email. We welcome new ideas and rely heavily on ALL of the member’s suggestions. Our Event Planner page allows all members to create, edit and delete their own events (including their birthdays and anniversaries)

What are some of the features of the website?

Events: The events page allows you to easily RSVP to events.

Mom’s Space: Your own profile that allows you to show off your taste, pictures, view, etc.
Polls: The polls are great way for the groups to vote on venues, time, and any other subject matters.
Mom’s Shop: Our online Garage Sale viewable by the public! Get rid of or trade those things you no longer need!
Message Board: This is a place for everyone to stay connected on a daily basis.  It is so much fun and a really great place to start getting know each other.

 

I just registered but I'm unable to log on!

 

As soon as your registration filled out, you will be sent an email from the administrator saying that your registration was received. Your Registration will be reviewed by the adminstration.  Upon review, your registration will be approved and an email will be sent to let you know that your registration has been approved and you will be able to acces the website at that time. 

 

Registration review usually takes 1 -3 days. So please bear with us!

How do I get that darn song to STOP PLAYING?

 

There is a music box on the bottom of the page.. Just press MUTE! 

 

Can I invite my friends and Family?

 

ABSOLUTELY, Please feel free to invite whomever you'd like.  THE MORE THE MERRIER!  

 Do You have to live in the Wichita City Limits to join?

 This group is for EVERYONE no matter what City that you live in.  We prefer that you live in the State of Kansas but we do accept memberships from women living out of state.  We do however ask that you email us first so that we know your story before we will authorize you.  Please email us at info@thewichitamomsgroup.com if you live out of state. 

 

I registered with the wrong USERNAME.  How do I change it?

 

Please make sure when you register that you choose the name you want EVERYONE else to see because there isn't anyway for us to change it through our system.  You will have to re-register.  

 

I received an email that says I am Locked Out, What do I do?

 

If you enter in the wrong username or password to many times it will automatically lock you out! Please keep a copy of your username and password.  If you can not log back in after a few minutes using the correct username and password please email me at info@thewichitamomsgroup.com  and I will manually unlock it.

 

Is there an age limit for the kids to join? I have an older child.

 

OF COURSE NOT! We have a lot of Moms that have older children.  There are children ranging from 0 - 18  years of age! So everyone is welcomed no matter how old  your children are!

 

 

I'm not a mom.. I'm a Grandmother.  Can I still join?

 

ABSOLUTELY, We'd love to have you join.   THE MORE THE MERRIER!
